MIROIR is guitar versus theorbo, contemporary versus early music. Though separated by four centuries the compositions are connected by the same search for musical forms and sounds.

Yann PERAN studied classical guitar with Alberto Ponce at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris and also lute, baroque guitar and theorbo with Eric Bellocq and Jean Luc Tamby.

He appears regularly as a concerto soloist and plays with various chamber music ensembles.
